SPECIAL Project: Guadalupe Center School Supplies Project

A tradition for those attending the Annual Summit of Zones 33 and 34 is to have a project that will help a program in the area where the Summit is being held. We are pleased to announce that this year’s project will be school supplies for the Early Childhood classes at Guadalupe Center in Immokalee, FL. You can learn more about the Center by going to their website. All Rotarians and Partners attending the Summit are asked to bring some of the school supplies which are listed below to help the Center as the school year progresses. The Partners will start packing these supplies on Thursday morning, and complete the sorting and packing on Friday morning.

We hope you can bring the supplies with you, but realize many of you will be flying to Naples and may want to ship your items. If that is the case, we will send an address for shipping early in September.

Please purchase as much of the following list as you can as we endeavor to follow Rotary International’s motto of “Service Above Self.”

  • Crayola Crayons-24 pack
  • Crayola Broadline Ultra-clean Washable Markers
  • #2 Pencils
  • Construction Paper
  • Washable School Glue
  • Jumbo Glue Sticks
  • Rounded Edge Scissors
  • Yellow Highlighters
  • Pink Pencil Erasers (small and large)
  • Early Childhood books (English and Spanish!)

Thank you for your help with this Project!
